The Kobe beef was good, but the coconut shrimp and bacon wrapped dates were delicious. The steak frites with duck fat fries? Better than anything I had in Paris; sorry self absorbed Parisians. For dessert, the chocolate mousse was rich and velvety, and the Espresso Martini was excellent. Loved the touch of live piano music in the background. A memorable evening all around. “ It was such a pretty day at Pacifica we went to Rockaway Beach to watch the sunset. We decided to walk over to Moonraker and grab a glass of wine and ordered the Oysters Rockefeller, Dungeness crab cake, and clam chowder bowl. Everything was delightful. They had a piano player playing which created a really nice ambience. We decided to sit at the bar since it was the last minute decision. Had a lovely lady who encourages us to try the clam chowder and I'm so glad she did. That chowder had the most clam bits I've ever had in my life. Enjoyed everything we ordered very much and we will plan to go back! ”

“ I had a great time dining here. Food was excellent, I had the Surf & Turf - Lobster & Steak. Lobster was cooked perfectly and was my favorite item of the night. Steak was tender and juicy. My gf had the seafood pasta and that was good as well. Her favorite protein in the dish was the fish. Food came out quickly and looked amazing. I would definitely come here again. Also kudos to David, our waiter. Came over the right amount of times and let us enjoy our meal and was there promptly when needed. ”

“ What an amazing place! There's no place like it anywhere that I know of anywhere on the West Coast. I've been to a lot of places, but nothing compares. They have a piano player every night except Monday and Wednesdays. He was amazing, by the way. The clam chowder is the best I've ever had. We ordered Caesar chicken salad, (chicken) was cooked perfectly, and the salad dressing tasted homemade. Unlike anything I've ever had. Very, very good. Also had chicken parmesan. Seemed like homemade noodles that were so delicate they were unreal. The chicken was also cooked perfectly. Most places tend to overcook chicken breast and it's like leather. These guys have it down. Presentation and taste! Considering we were really underdressed for the place, everyone was very cordial. Super nice staff. And did I mention the view? It was amazing from every table. “ The scenery is beautiful, with direct beach views from the seats. The food is delicious, especially the clam chowder, which is the best I've ever had – very rich with fresh, tasty clams. Oyster Rockefeller and the cioppino are also tasty. Mussels-Frites is too salty so I wouldn't recommend it. ”
